Any time is a wonderful time at Lorden Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Chinook Camping is a good local campground; a round of golf at nearby Northwood Golf Course is a great       way to kill some time. Going for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Fremont Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Lorden Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
