At Loon Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Loon Lake through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 10's. If you came to camp Moon Lake Campground is a       good place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Suites East Lansing Okemos. Dunn Lakes is a good lake in the neighborhood of Loon Lake, and Super 8 East Lansing/University Area is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Loon Lake from Owosso, you won't be the only one, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Pine Hills Golf Course. So much entertaining stuff in close proximity                  to Loon Lake, absolutely phenomenal. Loon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lansing Cottonwood Campground is a great local campground.
