During the long summer days highs here at Longrie Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Longrie Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is next to Longrie Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pike River.       This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Longrie Lake? Duck Lake is in the neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Longrie Lake has to offer, you can camp at Stephenson Motel. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Menominee River, and Longrie Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Shakey Lakes Park is a nice site to camp nearby. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly                  plentiful here at Longrie Lake. Take a side journey to Little Shakey Creek; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge On The Bay is a delightful place to spend a night or two. For you golfers we recommend close by Indian Hills Golf Course, and Longrie Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Ann is a nearby lake. Longrie Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February.
