From a rain point of view Longrie Lake is a pretty normal place; most of the rain falls during September; the driest of the months is February. Shakey Lakes Park is a perfect local campground; if you need a location to stay       Americinn - Menominee, Mi is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Norway Mountain, and in the vicinity of Longrie Lake you hit upon a golf course called Indian Hills Golf Course. If you're visiting Longrie Lake from Marinette, you won't be the only one; Stephenson Motel is a great campground nearby. High temperatures at Longrie Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's; the night                  is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 20's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Longrie Lake tend to be in the 0's.
