Lake Isabella is a lake close by, and MAXFIELDS INN is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Mount Pleasant here at Long                  Pond, and a golf course nearby is The Pines Golf Course Department. All through the summertime highs here at Long Pond get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
