There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chapel Beach Campground is a pleasant location for that; Burrell Lakes is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one of the destinations in close proximity to Long Lake that are perfect to go to, and       if you came to camp Au Sable Point Campground is a perfect place to do that. During the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Long Lake, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Long Lake. Near Long Lake you find the Haywire Grade ORV Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and if you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore is a tremendous                  choice. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Long Lake. The Lakeshore Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Long Lake.
