Take a hike on the Devils Lake Trail, and camping is available at Campers Cove RV and Campground. Through the warm months at Long Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Long Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites       here than Long Lake, for example Mindack Lake; a perfect nearby hotel is Alpena-Days Inn. Here at Long Lake there are plenty of folks from Alpena, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Alpena,Mi is a tremendous choice. Take a little tour to Fitzgerald Creek while you're here at Long Lake; why not camp at Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground if you're here at Long Lake. Long Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the                  rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lakes?
