There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shakey Lakes Park is a fine place for that, and Shakey River is near Long Lake and is always a delight to stop by. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Long Lake. Buck Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Long Lake; if you came to camp Amberg Campgrounds and Bar is a great location to do that. A normal       amount of precipitation falls here at Long Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Indian Hills Golf Course is a fine golf course close by; Baker Lake is a perfect lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a glorious choice; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Norway Mountain. You'll meet a lot of people from Marinette here.                  There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Pike River; dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI. At Long Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
