If you need a spot to stay Super 8 West Branch is a wonderful choice; a lovely lake like Scaup Lake is a nice place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. It's a good idea to stop at Gamble Creek, it's in the vicinity of Lodge Lake; if you came to camp Lost Valley Campgrounds is a good place       to do that. A great nearby hotel is Quality Inn West Branch, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Greenbriar Golf Course is nearby. The annual precipitation here at Lodge Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. So much entertaining stuff close to Lodge Lake, absolutely fantastic. On a splendid day at Lodge Lake you can take a hike along the Sterling Truck Trail.
