Hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is brilliant fun. Lakes are nice; Hare Pond is a lake that's next to Locust Pond. Wild Eagle Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sparrow Rapids Campground if you're here at Locust Pond; float down the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch in a kayak. At Locust Pond during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
