     A great close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and McCormick Lake is a nice lake close by. Through the days of summer at Locke Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Locke Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Locke Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; the month with most of  
   the rain is September; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Big Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by T Lake.
Why not camp at Newberry Koa Kampground since you're here at Locke Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a great choice.
