Custom Search     Little Whitefish Lake   I have a cottage that I live in during the summer on this lake and I love it here. The wildlife is plenty full with a swan, loon, and sandhill crane family that returns every year. There are many turtles in the swampy side of the lake, but not enough to be a nuisance. There is enough fish in the lake that you can catch supper whenever you feel like. Also, many minnows to entertain the little kids. We have a couple water snakes that live on the lake, but rarely appear and are quite harmless. This lake is big enough to comfortable wakeboard or ski or tube on and it won't get crowded easily. It gets quite windy sometimes, so great for wind surfing fanatics.
