Stay the night at Lime Lake Campground, and some close by water includes Lime Creek. Throughout the summer months highs here at Little Traverse Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips       down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Little Traverse Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. The skiing at Homestead is delightful; Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is one of the destinations that are nice to check out close by. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rainfall here at Little Traverse Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Bass Lake.
