Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Homestead Resort is a nice spot to camp. From a precipitation point of view Little Platte Lake is a quite typical place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warmest time of the year at Little       Platte Lake highs are usually in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little Platte Lake are in the 10's. Time spent at Beulah Beach right next door to Little Platte Lake is always tremendous, and do stop at North Branch Platte River if you're here at Little Platte Lake. Vacation Trailer Park Campgrnd is a perfect local campground; you are near Bay Point                  since you're here. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Little Platte Lake has it all. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crystal Mountain is near Little Platte Lake; lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Deer Lake. If you haven’t been to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Scenic Hill Resort is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you can take a look at Onkeonwe Beach in the neighborhood of Little Platte Lake; an afternoon playing golf at Crystal Lake Golf Club is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful.
