     Take a little journey to East Branch Fox River since you're here at Little Mud Lake, and a lake close by is Stuart Lake. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Little Mud Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Little Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northland Outfitters is a brilliant spot for that, and if you need a place  
   to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a nice choice.
During the long summer days here at Little Mud Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Little Mud Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Little Mud Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, South Manistique
 
               Lake Campground is a fine local campground, obviously you could also go to Lost Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
