This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hilltop Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two, and Silver Lake Resort is a perfect campground here. Spurr River is a great place to pop by, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Peshekee River. You can run the rapids of Michigamme River in the vicinity of Little Michigamme Lake.
