A brilliant spot to camp here at Little Lake is Parks and Recreation Dept. Lakes are good; Ryerson Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Little Lake. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Little Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Little Lake tend to be in the 10's. The Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail

| | offers hiking at its best, and camping at Lake Park Campground is always a pleasant experience. Little Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls throughout August; the driest month of the year is February. Just can't get enough of Little Lake. Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
