     Stay the night at Shady Acres Campground, needless to say you could also explore Snyder Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Little Bear Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Little Bear Lake. Little Bear Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall;  
   most of the rain falls all through September; the driest month is February.
Treetops Resort is a good site to get some rest, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Tea Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious sight of charming Comstock Hills is available from Little Bear Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sno-trac Camper Village.

Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience. Tubing is separate from the ski area and is available for a ''ride on the wild side.''
