There are plenty of people from Traverse City here at Lime Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lime Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds is a nice place to camp nearby, and if you have time to spare, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a national park worth stopping at. Homestead has fine slopes and a friendly       staff; in the neighborhood of Lime Lake you discover a golf course called Mistwood Golf Course. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Lime Lake. Hit the slopes at Crystal Mountain nearby, and Sunnywoods Platte River is a splendid local campground. Lime Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
