Lakes? Sure, Denny Lake is in the vicinity. Lewis Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Treetops Resort is a great place to get some rest, and Treetops Sylvan is a delightful local ski area. If you came to camp Gaylord Michaywe Kampground       is a wonderful site to do that, and whitewater paddling is fine on Sturgeon River. So much fun stuff to do here at Lewis Lake, too fine to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at K O A Kampgrounds is always a pleasant experience; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Ginsel Lake. At Lewis Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
