Take a side trip to Forest Creek, and if you're here, you could also pop by charming Black Lake. An average amount of rain falls at Lemunyon Lake; the month with most of the rain is September; February meanwhile is the driest month. Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a tremendous campground nearby, and if you're going to from Grand Rapids-Wyoming, you won't be the only one. | | Cannonsburg is pleasant; if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camp Park is a glorious location to camp. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Lemunyon Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Lemunyon Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services for individuals and their own equipment for a reasonable fee.
