If you       get bored of Legion Lake, you could also pop by close by Buck Lake, and a magnificent nearby hotel is AmericInn Munising. Chapel Beach Campground is a glorious campground nearby. High temperatures at Legion Lake during the summertime months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Legion Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Legion Lake;                  during September this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a very good location to take a look at in the neighborhood of Legion Lake, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail.
