Leggett Lake is a nice lake to visit. Leggett Lake is a good place of common rain; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. For you golfers we recommend close by Lake Monterey Golf Course, and Bittersweet has nice slopes and a friendly staff. While you're here at Leggett Lake, you could also visit delightful East Lake; Budget Host Sunset Motel is a splendid location to get some rest.

| | While you're here at Leggett Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Allegan; dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Grand Rapids SW/Byron Center. Having a splendid time at Leggett Lake is trouble-free. Visit Bear Creek since you're here at Leggett Lake, and Hungry Horse Campground is a magnificent local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kalamazoo River, and McDermott Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.

lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at East Lake Camping if you're here at Leggett Lake; Timber Ridge is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. During the summer highs here at Leggett Lake get into the
80's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Leggett Lake are in the 10's.

Bittersweet

Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area.... |

It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill.... |

Fisk is a great lake to fish on. You must have a kayak or canoe to gain access through the channel that runs between Reeds and Fisk. Put your boat in on the West side of lakeside across from the dock at Reed's lake next to the municipal building. Have Fun... |
