From a precipitation point of view Lake LeVasseur is a rather normal site; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. East Branch LeVasseur Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at, and skiing at Marquette is one of those things you just have to do.       There's whitewater on Carp River for all you adrenaline junkies. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marquette, MI is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and camping at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is always a great experience. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chocolay River, and Americas Best Value Inn - Marquette is a pleasant                  place to get some rest. Throughout the summer months highs here at Lake LeVasseur reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake LeVasseur.
