     Camp Thornapple is a tremendous campground nearby, and not far from Lawhead Lake you'll discover Bullhead Lake which is a beautiful lake. After a long day outdoors Yarrow Golf & Conference Center is a fine place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lawhead Lake, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at
Lawhead Lake. Lawhead Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February.
Lawhead Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Welcome woods Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Huckleberry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hastings Country Club is a great golf course close by; a nice close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Ionia.
