In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River, and dry warm beds await you at Treetops Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sturgeon River Campground; next to Lance Lake you discover a golf course called Wildwood Lake Golf Course. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Boyne Mountain is in the neighborhood of Lance Lake. Throughout the warm months       at Lance Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lance Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
