If you need a place to stay Best Western Country Inn is a pleasant choice, and drift down the rapids of Escanaba River - Middle Branch in a kayak. Lake Sally gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. The Holyoke Trail offers hiking at its best; Lake Sally is a location with many visitors from Marquette. Be careful       coming to Lake Sally, you might not ever wanna go home again. Take a look at close by Grass Lake; you must definitely visit Last Bluff during your stay. A lake nearby is Lake Angeline; a good nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Marquette. This lake is so wonderful. Pilot Knob is pretty and can be spotted from Lake Sally, and Lake Sally is not the only spot close by, Voelker Lake is a close by lake. At Lake Sally through the warm days of summer highs are in the                  70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Lake Sally. This lake is so wonderful. Partridge Creek flows through this area, and if you come at the right time of year, Escanaba River - Middle Branch offers some delightful whitewater. Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a perfect campground nearby, and Marquette is a pleasant local ski area.
