Lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is close by, and why not camp at Au Train Lake Campground since you're here at Laakso Lake. A nice location to camp here at Laakso Lake is Laughing Whitefish Campground. Get wet paddling on Chocolay River; there are pleasant places to discover along the Chatham Ski Trail. Just can't get enough of Laakso Lake. There's great hiking along       the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail; there are other places here than Laakso Lake, for example Ginpole Lake. Through the warm days of summer at Laakso Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; overnight lows at Laakso Lake throughout the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. Laakso Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; September is when you                  get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
