Kunze Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a great site to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we       recommend Perch River. Summertime highs at Kunze Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Kunze Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn. There's so much to do here at Kunze Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground                  is a delightful spot for that; Roadside Spring is always fun to check out. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Brule, and Kunze Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lower Dam Lake Campground is a great local campground. Brule Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff; why not take a little tour to Preston Creek if you're here. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Kunze Lake. If the weather is magnificent here at Kunze Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails. Lakes?
