An average amount of precipitation falls at Koski Lake; January is when you get the most snow here, and April is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Hancock Recreation Area, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Otter River - West Branch. If time allows, Isle Royale National       Park is a national park worth checking out, and a good location to camp here at Koski Lake is Twin Lakes State Park. So much exciting stuff close to Koski Lake, truly fantastic. At Koski Lake you always meet someone from Houghton; do have a look at Hall Lake, it's a delightful lake. Summer at Koski Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows                  in the 0's for Koski Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
