Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Clare, and Lake George Campground is a nice local campground. From a rainfall point of view Kilborne Lake is a rather common site; throughout September this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location       to stay Econo Lodge Clare is a good choice; enjoy a round of golf at Eagle Glen Golf Course. If you came for an overnight stay Lake George Campgrounds is a great place to camp, and if you've had enough of Kilborne Lake, Hemlock Lake is close by. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do near Kilborne Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chippewa River. Summertime highs at Kilborne Lake generally tend to                  be in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's.
