Kennedy Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Near Kennedy Lake you hit upon the North Country National Scenic Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Kennedy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area is a great place for that. If you're       a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Perttu's Big Spruce Golf Course; if you came to camp Robbins Pond Campground is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch; Porcupine Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. During the summertime months here at Kennedy Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the                  50's.
