Camping is available at Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area, and Ontonagon River - Middle Branch is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. An average amount of precipitation falls at Kennedy Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. A picturesque lake like Pickle Pond in close proximity to Kennedy Lake is a wonderful place to stop at,       and a day on the slopes of Porcupine Mountain is just what you need. So much entertaining stuff to do at Kennedy Lake, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Robbins Pond Campground is a pleasant spot to camp, and the North Country National Scenic Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Throughout the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Kennedy Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Kennedy Lake.
