     You could also go to Bluegill Lake since you're here at Kennedy Lake; it's nearby, and why not camp at Township Campground since you're here at Kennedy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kennedy Lake is not the only place close by, Horseshoe Lake is a close by lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's at Kennedy Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 20's while  
   the cold winter nights at Kennedy Lake are in the 10's. Kennedy Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
