Michigan has many beautiful lakes and Kates Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Escanaba River - Middle Branch; hiking along the Holyoke Trail is perfect fun. Some of the water close by flows, like Bass Creek, and Kates Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a wonderful local campground. Be careful coming to Kates Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A good site to camp here at Kates Lake is Norway Lake Park Paystation. Jasper Ridge Inn Ishpeming is a splendid place to get some rest, and Bear Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. From a rain point of view Kates Lake is a quite common spot; through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is the month | |
