Grayling Country Club is a golf course right next door to Karen Lake, and if you need a place to stay Woodland Motor Lodge is a great choice. Lakes are good; Bear Lake is a lake that's right next door to Karen Lake. There's so much to do here at Karen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Pond Campground is a pleasant place for that. An average amount of rainfall falls at       Karen Lake; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. AuSable Valley Hotel and Conference Center is a pleasant place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Karen Lake has to offer, you can camp at River Park Campgrounds and Pond. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. Skyline Ski Slide has nice slopes and a friendly                  staff. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Bright Lake is a lake in the vicinity; tremendous skiing awaits you at Hanson Hills. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Karen Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
