If you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Lansing City Golf Course, and a pleasant site to camp here at Jones Lake is Lansing Cottonwood Campground. Jones Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Red Cedar River. Throughout       the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Jones Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Jones Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Radisson Hotel Lansing is a good spot to get some rest, and why not camp at Life O'riley Mobile Home Park since you're here at Jones Lake.
