Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by West Branch Lake, and the vistas at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will blow your mind. The Haymeadow Falls Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Jones Lake, and Hovey Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. You'll       never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Gladstone Ski Park since you're here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Au Train River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Days Inn Munising is a perfect choice, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff close to Jones Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Throughout the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Jones Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's; overnight lows at Jones Lake throughout the winter usually descend into the 0's.
