Summertime highs at Johnson Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; night lows in the-10's for Johnson Lake. Johnson Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Robbins Pond Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Porcupine       Mountain. Johnson Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area is a good campground nearby, and hiking along the North Country National Scenic Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful.
