At Johnson Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Johnson Lake dip into the 0's. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at       Johnson Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sterling Truck Trail; a perfect nearby hotel is Quality Inn West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Driftwood is a magnificent local campground; if you get bored of Johnson Lake you could also explore nearby Mud Lake. Johnson Lake is right by the East Fireline Trail, and in the neighborhood of Johnson Lake you find a golf course called Edgewood                  Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Johnson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Logan Hills Campground is a great site for that; do take a hike on the Lame Duck Truck Trail.
