You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Norway Mountain if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Indian Hills Golf Course; Shakey Lakes Park is a great campground here. During the warmest time of the year at Johnson Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight       lows at Johnson Lake through the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's. Johnson Lake is a pleasant spot to camp, Stephenson Motel is a pleasant spot; some of the water nearby flows, like Little Shakey Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Pike River offers some wonderful whitewater, and a lake nearby is Lake Ann. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Johnson Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Menominee                  River; Econo Lodge On The Bay is a great location to get some rest.
