This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marquette, MI is a great place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Johnson Lake, Blue Lake is close by. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Marquette, and of course East Branch Escanaba River is a stunning stream that is worth       going to. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Perch Lake is one of those nearby, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Escanaba River. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Johnson Lake; through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Any time is a nice time at Johnson Lake if you adore the outdoors. If you came to camp Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a splendid                  place to do that, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Escanaba River - East Branch. Throughout the days of summer at Johnson Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Johnson Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Red Fox Run Golf Course.
