This lake is so wonderful. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a great national park; hey, Gotta ski right? Gladstone Ski Park is a great location to do that. Joel Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Joel Pond. There's so much to       do here at Joel Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wandering wheels Campground is a fine site for that, and Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a perfect site to get some rest. Throughout the warm months here at Joel Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Joel Pond                  temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Au Train Lake; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Munising. There are perfect places to discover along the Chatham Ski Trail; you can stay the night at Au Train Lake Campground. You could also pop by Paulson Lake since you're here at Joel Pond; it's close by; don't leave Joel Pond without first paying a visit to Scott Falls. If you come at the right time of year, Au Train River offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike on the Addis Lakes Ski Trail is always a great adventure.
