Near Joe Lake you find the Valley Spur Ski Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area. A common amount of rain falls here at Joe Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is February. Hovey Lake Campground       is a perfect campground nearby, and Odell Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area right next door to Joe Lake has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Au Train River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. A tour to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is worthwhile, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Munising is a great choice.                  This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Joe Lake, you could also go to picturesque Lake Seventeen, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Chatham Ski Trail. For the duration of the warm months, highs generally are in the 70's at Joe Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Joe Lake.
