If you came to camp Henry Lake Campground is a splendid place to do that, and float down the rapids of Black River in a kayak. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic       Range. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Joann Lake you can take a hike along the Rainbow Falls Trail; everyone nearby loves skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Camping at Presque Isle Campground is always a good experience, and not far from Joann Lake you obtain some perfect water scenery at McFadyen Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Planter Creek is                  so much fun. High temperatures at Joann Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Joann Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Gogebic Range.
