You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jishib Lake has to offer, you can camp at Raccoon Campground, and Ontonagon River - Middle Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. During the summer highs here at Jishib Lake reach the 70's,       and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 10's, and overnight lows at Jishib Lake during the wintertime frequently plunge into the-10's. Why not check out close by Cowslip Creek while you're here at Jishib Lake, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the North Country National Scenic Trail.
