You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Jarr Lake. Camp Eightthree Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to; if you       have time to spare, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a national park worth taking a look at. If you came for an overnight stay Indian Lake Travel Resort is a splendid place to camp, and Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore is a good place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Jarr Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and                  night lows in the 0's for Jarr Lake. Jarr Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Jarr Lake there are plenty of folks from Escanaba; the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
