Jacksnipe Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Bobcat Lake Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and everybody close by loves skiing at Indianhead. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Presque Isle, and do take a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail. During the months of summer highs here at Jacksnipe Lake get into the 70's. Through the dark       hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Jacksnipe Lake. From a precipitation point of view Jacksnipe Lake is a quite typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. East Branch Presque Isle River is a great local stream,                  and a pretty lake like Teal Lake is a wonderful place to pop by. So many enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range, just incredible. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Gogebic Range. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Minocqua, and you'll come across a delightful lake called Arnested Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
