There's perfect hiking along the Chatham Ski Trail. Whitewater paddling is fine on Au Train River, and the Addis Lakes Ski Trail offers hiking at its best. If you came for an overnight stay Au Train Lake Campground is a great site to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one of the       destinations near Ivars Pond that are magnificent to go to; Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a nice place to get some rest. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Ivars Pond reach the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 20's while Ivars Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
