So much cool stuff close to Island Lake, definitely incredible. The snow is great at Hanson Hills. This lake is so wonderful. The Loon Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and Americas Best Value Inn - Gaylord is a tremendous place to get some rest. For the duration       of the summer months here at Island Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Island Lake drop into the 0's. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Treetops Sylvan, and you can stay the night at K O A Kampgrounds. The annual rainfall here at Island Lake is about average; September                  is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest.
