During the long summer days at Island Lake highs are commonly in the 70's; the nighttime is rather cooler of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's while Island Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. There's glorious hiking along the Holyoke Trail.       The yearly precipitation here at Island Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. The smiling folks of Marquette like to hang out close by, and if you're here, you could also go to delightful Tanglefoot Lake. Camping at Michigamme Shores Campground is always a nice experience, and do go to Lake Unky, it's                  a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Wawonowin Country Club is always a diversion; Best Western Country Inn is a great location to get some rest.
