Island Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Green Acres Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and Coldwater River Campground is a great local campground. Island Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and February on the other hand       is the driest. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Island Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Bassett Lake while you're here at Island Lake; it's close by, and playing golf is lots of fun at Golf Club Of Coldwater. Island Lake is not far at all from Coldwater, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest. Summer at Island Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
